be an upload slot but it could also be waiting or downloading or inactive. First check any firewall software like Windows Firewall and look for. So what is the '< minutes' supposed to do but tell utorrent how long the torrent to be seeded until goal is reached. Or (auto) limit upload slots per torrent based on upload bandwidth / active. Probably you are behind a firewall or something like that. Also, seeds have no need to connect to other seeds.reducing the number of connections a seed can get. It would make zero sense if it meant 'Seed ONLY while ratio is GREATER than 100 or seeding time is HIGHER than xxx minutes. A seeding torrent can only upload to so many peers before peers time out due to inactivity.
#Utorrent seeding inactive how to
I know the torrent is in the "inactive" section here, they always automatically go there, and i cant figure out how to get them into the "active" section. Exactly like 'seed for minutes', just said differently. Here are some images of utorrent during a recent file download attempt, and the website i got it from Seeding is the mere practice of returning to the community since most of your downloaded files were probably from other clients.

the website always says there are several seeds, and peers, and when i open the torrent file in utorrent, there is a file or list of files there i can select from, so i know those are not the problem. Whenever i try downloading a file through utorrent version 1.8.4 on my mac, it never downloads.
